Talk Data To Me: CRDDS Open House

Talk Data To Me: CRDDS Open House

Join us for tea time and informal conversation on various data and digital scholarship topics, on the first Tuesday of each month at 3-5pm in Norlin E206 (CRDDS). We hope this co-learning and community space will help foster new interdisciplinary connections and collaborations, as CRDDS brings together people from all parts of campus and disciplines. Teas and other light refreshments will be provided. Registration/RSVP appreciated but not required. If you'd like to facilitate a topic and conversation, you're welcome to reach out to crdds@colorado.edu in advance.

Our first Talk Data To Me teatime is September 6, and it will be an Open House with some of us from the Center for Research Data & Digital Scholarship, CRDDS. Get to know what we do and how we can support your research, grants, and teaching with our expertise and services throughout the research data lifecycle.

The second Talk Data To Me will be Tuesday, October 4th at 3-5pm, and we'll share information about the CHA-CRDDS Digital Humanities Faculty Fellowship and the Digital Humanities Graduate Certificate Program.

Our third Talk Data to Me will be held during GIS Week on November 1st, so we'll be talking about critical mapping, geospatial data, tools and methods for research and teaching, to bring together the carto-curious across campus.

Our fourth and final session for the fall will be December 6th, our knowledge exchange topic is TBD. Ideas and facilitators welcome. Meanwhile, we're thinking either, data capitalism and surveillance, or grant funding resources for Digital Humanities.
