Tableau Dashboarding Part 2

Tableau is a data analytics and visualization application which allows you to explore your data via plots and maps within minutes using drop and drag workflows with no programming required. The real strength of Tableau is the user’s ability to combine in highly interactive plots using customizable dashboards allowing for rich layouts making the results of your work publicly available using Tableau's web services.

In this workshop we will continue to explore creating an interactive dashboard from the plots create in the first workshop. This is a handson workshop which is intended to be at a beginner to intermediate level which anyone should be able to follow with ease.

Videos of the first Tableau will be made available on the CRDDS YouTube channel a couple weeks before this workshop opens as well as a Tableau .twbx of the finished plots so anyone can jump in right away. Links to these and other important matters will be EMailed to all registered participants.

Prerequisites: We will strictly be covering the free 'Public Tableau'. This will be a hands-on workshop so if you wish to follow along, please make sure you have Tableau installed (https://public.tableau.com/en-us/s/) before the workshop starts. If you have any questions or problems, please visit us during the CRDDS consulting hours.
