Digital Without Tears: Digital Humanities Tools for Research and Teaching

Digital Without Tears: Digital Humanities Tools for Research and Teaching

Curious about Digital Humanities (DH) and DH tools but concerned about the learning curve? Afraid that you need to be a coder to do DH? Fear not, there are tons of easy-to-use tools for creating DH projects, including timelines, interactive maps, websites and more—no coding required. This workshop will introduce participants to 1) what is DH?, and 2) introduce several free (and mostly open-source) tools that can be learned quickly to enhance your scholarship and teaching.
