Cyberinfrastructure Presentation and Discussion

The Center for Research Data and Digital Scholarship (CRDDS) is hosting John Kozubik of rsync.net to present and discuss the infrastructure and deployment of rsync.net, a cloud storage platform built on the ZFS filesystem. rsync.net is a multi-site global storage deployment and service, including a location in Denver, CO.

This presentation includes an overview of the rsync.net service offering: the architecture of the depoyed storage; an overview of rsync.net's reliability, security, and data management process; and an opportunity for Q&A.

This will be a technical presentation of particular interest to cyberinfrastructure administrators, but anyone with an interest in UNIX/Linux or data storage is encouraged to attend. Attendance is open to the public.
