Learn to create professional looking maps for your research projects, presentations, and publications. We’ll cover the cartography industry’s standard programs and workflows, combining GIS with design software. Topics covered will include map conventions, symbolization, color theory, typography, and layout. (Note: this series will focus on creating static, printable maps).

This is Part II in the Making your own Maps series and will build upon lessons learned in Part I.
