From the impact factor and h-index to Altmetrics, you’ve heard about the importance of demonstrating the impact of your research. But what exactly are these tools and methods of measuring your scholarly influence, and how do they work? In this workshop we’ll dive into several of the most common methods of measuring impact, interrogate how they’ve come to prominence, and discuss how you can take your impact seriously while still maintaining your sanity.
