Introduction to Text Mining for English Graduate Students

Text mining is a research method used in a variety of disciplines in order to identify patterns and themes across a large body of texts. This workshop will be a gentle introduction and tailored to graduate students in English. We'll cover basic text mining concepts and try hands-on practice with Voyant, a web-based text mining tool commonly used in Digital Humanities. Please bring a laptop.
