City of Boulder Municipal Data Mixer

Join the City of Boulder, Code for Boulder, and the Center for Research Data & Digital Scholarship for a Municipal Data Mixer. The City of Boulder Open Data Catalog features public data on topics including public and recreational land use, arts and culture, public safety, and energy and utilities use in a variety of useful formats and structures optimized for GIS, visualizations, and other research. In addition to their published open data, the City has a substantial amount of unpublished raw and minimally curated data ripe for investigation. This catered event will feature lightning talks by CU faculty and local data stewards and is designed to encourage interdisciplinary and cross-organizational collaborations around the use and sharing of municipal data assets. Interested in giving a lightning talk about a project idea or other uses of municipal data? Sign up for a three minute slot by April 26th here: http://bit.ly/DataMixer.
