Digital Scholarship Brown Bag "Why We Share"
Please join us for cookies and tea at our next Digital Scholarship Brown Bag on Wednesday, April 10th, with Libi Striegl (CMCI), who will present, "Why We Share."
- We are taught pro-social skills like sharing in our formative years, but some seem to lose touch with those skills as adults. In this hands-on exploration of open-source software, hardware, and other-ware we will discuss the potentials (and pitfalls) of non-proprietary work. Structured around sharing as a community building practice, this is as much an exercise in community as it is an information session.
