Geocoding Methods

Geocoding is the process of assigning latitude and longitude information to street address data. Earth Sciences & Environment Librarian Phil White discuss geocoding methods and lead participants through geocoding exercises using ArcGIS software as well as alternative, free and open source methods. Participants will need to bring a laptop with ArcGIS Pro software installed as well as OpenRefine. Contact Phil White (philip.white@colorado.edu) for ArcGIS software license information.
