High Throughput Computing on RMACC Summit and Beyond - Online

Are you an RMACC Summit HPC user with a highly serial scientific workflow, characterized by the need to run thousands to millions of single core computing jobs? For example, do you need to perform a repetitive task on thousands of photos, satellite images, documents or other items? Would you like improved throughput and easier management of those jobs? If so, this online course is for you. We will review tools and methods for high throughput computing (HTC), including ‘gnu parallel’, ‘load balance’ and the use of job arrays. We will also discuss HTC resources beyond RMACC Summit.

Basic knowledge of Linux is required as a pre-requisite. An account on RMACC Summit is preferred, but not required.
