Text Mining with AntConc
This workshop explores the use of text mining as an approach to digital research. Learners will cover the basics of the text mining approach, including its affordances and limitations. Part of the workshop will also cover a hands-on demonstration of the text mining software Antconc, a free program which provides a variety of text mining functions. Other software will also be discussed. This workshop will also briefly introduce the concept of regular expressions, which will be covered in a later workshop on March 5th.
