Introduction to QGIS

If you’re curious about the world of Free and Open Source GIS Software, it’s time to give QGIS a try. QGIS is a premier GIS desktop software application that works on PC, Mac, and Linux (not to mention Android!). In this workshop we will introduce the QGIS 3 interface and guide you through common GIS procedures. Laptops with requisite software applications will be provided. Particpants may also bring a personal laptop with QGIS installed prior to the workshop (to install visit QGIS.org—it's free!). Contact Phil White if you need assistance installing the software.
