Digital Research Workflow Series: Manage Your Research Photos with Tropy
Researchers often take large numbers of photos in archives but do not necessarily have a good system for managing them. Enter Tropy, open-source software that allows you to organize and describe your research photos. Add metadata to images, transcribe and take notes on them, and use tags to categorize them. This workshop will walk through the software, giving a demonstration of what Tropy can do and the ways it can be integrated into your research workflow. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops in order to engage with the software during the workshop.
