After 10 years of living in South America, a young, ex-patriot American woman returns to Colorado and experiences life as a  a "wrap-around Latina," a Mexican American who found her Latina identity in pre-revolutionary Venezuela, but who spent the next 20 years adapting to life in the United States, her ancestral homeland and the only land she had ever known.
