Introduction to QGIS

Introduction to QGIS

If you’re curious about the world of Free and Open Source GIS Software, it’s time to give QGIS a try. QGIS is a premier GIS desktop software application that works on PC, Mac, and Linux (not to mention Android!). In this workshop we will introduce the QGIS interface and guide you through common GIS procedures. Laptops with requisite software applications will be provided. Participants may also bring a personal laptop with QGIS installed prior to the workshop (to install visit QGIS.org—it's free!). Contact Phil White if you need assistance installing the software.
