Data Visualization in R

This 1 hour workshop is an introduction to data visualization in R. We will practice various plotting functions in the base, lattice, and ggplot2 packages to make desired figures and modify the aesthetics of figures. Finally, we will save these figures in different formats.

Prerequisites: No prior coding experience necessary, but need to have R (https://www.r-project.org/) and RStudio (https://www.rstudio.com/products/rstudio/download/) installed and the ‘data_vis_R.R’ R script downloaded from our OSF site (https://osf.io/nb9v7/). All participants need to bring a laptop.

Location: Gemmill Library MATH 150.
