Setting up Your Research Software on Alpine

Setting up Your Research Software on Alpine

Research Software on HPC systems vary in many different ways. This can often be a bottleneck for researchers wanting to scale their work from their local desktop to a large scale computing cluster. In this introductory workshop we will cover compilers, software modules, conda virtual environments, and introduce containers, with a focus on CU Research Computing's system Alpine. At the end of this workshop participants should have an idea of how to begin using software on the Alpine HPC system.
