RMACC New User Seminar (an RC Primer)

RMACC New User Seminar (an RC Primer)

Thursday, August 28, 11am - 12pm

Are you new to the Alpine supercomputer, but don't know where to start? This RC Primer**, targeted for non-CU Boulder RMACC affiliates, is designed to give you an overview of resources, procedures and best practices. You will learn how to log in, request allocations, store and transfer data, load software, run a job, and ask for help.

In order to follow along with the hands-on component of this session, you’ll want to register for a Research Computing account beforehand (takes about 10 minutes). No account? No worries! If you need assistance with creating an account, please email rc-help@colorado.edu.

** What is an RC Primer?: An RC Primer is a session that provides an introduction to concepts, systems, and tools. You can expect to leave a Primer with an introductory-level understanding of the topic.
