Introduction to Programming: The R Language (Short Course)
Students learn the fundamentals of programming in the R language for statistical computing. After installing R, we begin with beginner programming concepts: data types, builtin operators, conditional statements, looping and mapping, functions, debugging, and reading documentation. Then, we explore tidyverse packages in application to data import, cleaning, wrangling, and visualization. Students will implement linear models and several flavors of ANOVA.
