Four Ways to GPU Computing (NVIDIA-led Primer)

In this 1 hour beginner-level Primer*, Zoe Ryan of NVIDIA will provide a hands-on experience focused on accelerating Python programs with NVIDIA GPUs. This workshop will be divided into three parts. First, we will explore drop-in replacements for SciPy and NumPy code through the CuPy library. Next, we’ll cover NVIDIA RAPIDS, which provides GPU acceleration for end-to-end data science workloads. By the end of the workshop, you'll have the skills to start accelerating your own Python programs with NVIDIA GPUs!

Note: This course is a great precursor to the CU Mark III AI Education series that will begin on February 11.

Prerequisites: A laptop or desktop computer is required to take this course.

What is a Primer? A Primer is a session that provides an introduction to concepts, systems, and tools. You can expect to leave a Primer with an introductory-level understanding of the topic.
