Lunch-n-Learn: Sharing data across institutions with PetaLibrary and Globus (a Quick Byte)

Friday, February 27, 12-12:30pm

PetaLibrary is CU’s robust, low-cost, large-scale storage service. This Quick Byte* presentation provides a concise demonstration of using Globus to set up a “shared endpoint” for a portion of your CU PetaLibrary allocation that can be securely shared with anyone, anywhere, regardless of their institutional affiliation. Globus is a data transfer service with a user-friendly browser interface.

Learn while you eat lunch!

Prerequisites: No prerequisites other than being a current or future PetaLibrary customer.

*What’s a Quick Byte? A Quick Byte is a 20-30 minute sessions intended to provide essential information about a specific topic. You can expect to leave a 'Quick Byte' with the information you need to apply a tool, service, or concept.
