The National Institutes of Health's Data Management and Sharing Policy (DMSP): An Introduction for CU Researchers
This workshop provides an introduction to the Data Management and Sharing Policy (DMSP) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which went into effect in January 2023. We will provide an overview of the Policy's requirements, and resources and tools available to CU researchers that can help to fulfill these requirements. Topics covered include writing a Data Management and Sharing Plan (DMS Plan) using DMPTool (a software platform that can be used to quickly assemble such plans); data storage; and data publication using FAIR data repositories, such as CU Scholar (CU Boulder’s institutional repository).
