Text Analysis in R

This 2 hour workshop is an introduction to text analysis in R and is the fourth of a 4-part Fall 2017 semester R workshop series. We will use both a dataset used in previous workshops and a new large text datafile to learn how to make such datasets useable in R for basic text analyses. We will learn commonly used functions for text analysis, such as word clouds, frequency graphs, and co-occurrence lists. Prerequisites: R and RStudio installed. Recommended: 'Introduction to R' and 'Statistics in R' workshops or understanding of data manipulation in R. All participants need to bring a laptop; option to bring own dataset.
