This 2 hour workshop is an introduction to data visualization in R and is the second of a 4-part Fall 2017 semester R workshop series. During the first hour, we will use the same dataset used in the first workshop to decide on which data to plot with the base, lattice, and ggplot2 packages. We will practice various plotting functions to make desired figures. We will spend the second hour practicing these skills on a dataset of our own. Prerequisites: R and RStudio installed, data loading and manipulation in R, no figure coding experience necessary. All participants need to bring a laptop; option to bring own dataset.
